It's been a long time for us to learn English at school. But mostly, we focus on how to get high scores in the exams. Lots of us cannot speak out. I met the same situation before, however, I'm lucky. While I was a sophomore, I started to realise that how important it is to speak good English and proceeded to practice. I met an American teacher at the Enlgish Center of our campus and he helps me a lot. He's not just a teacher, he does finacial business and taught International Finance and Hotel Management as a part time professor at Sun Yat-Sen University as well as Jinan University. Teaching is just his interest, he likes to communicate with the students and try to help them. He corrected my prononciation by practicing IPA one by one, again and again. Keep communicating with me patiently. That makes me improve a lot, and most important is, this changes my prononciation, it's not that Chinglish anymore. Getting better and better.
